Refund policy
This policy applies to all purchases made on ModeBeads.com, including one-time purchases, subscriptions, pre-orders, and orders placed using Shop Pay, Affirm, Klarna, or other buy-now-pay-later services.
1) Returns
We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is marked delivered by the carrier. Return requests submitted more than 30 days after delivery cannot be accepted.
Return eligibility
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging
- Package seals must be intact
- Items must be returned in the same condition as received
- We may request photo or video proof of item condition before approving a return
Due to the nature of our bead mixes and packaging, opened, unsealed, partially used, or partially consumed items are not eligible for return or refund.
All returns require prior approval before being sent back.
2) How to Start a Return
To request a return, email support@modebeads.com and include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for the return
Once approved, you will receive return instructions.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and must arrange shipping to:

Returns sent without approval may be refused. Items that do not meet return conditions upon inspection will be denied and no refund will be issued.
3) Restocking Fee
All approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
4) Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
- Custom or made-to-order products
- Sale or discounted items
- Gift cards
- Opened or unsealed products
- Used or partially used products
5) Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or denial decision.
If approved:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Refunds are minus the 25% restocking fee
- Refunds are processed within 10 business days after approval
Please note that banks and payment providers may take additional time to post the refund.
We do not offer partial refunds for opened, used, or partially consumed products.
6) Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders enter processing quickly. Once an order has entered processing, it cannot be modified or canceled.
7) Delivered, Lost, or Stolen Packages
Once an order is marked delivered by the carrier, ModeBeads is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Customers should contact the carrier directly for delivery issues or claims.
We may assist where possible, but resolution is not guaranteed.
8) Subscriptions
How subscriptions work
Some products are offered as subscriptions with recurring deliveries at the frequency selected at checkout. Your payment method is stored securely and billed automatically for each scheduled shipment.
Managing or canceling a subscription
You can manage your subscription directly from your account:
- Visit modebeads.com
- Click the account/person icon
- Log in using the email used at checkout
- Select Subscriptions or Manage Subscriptions
From there, you may skip, pause, update billing or shipping details, or cancel your subscription.
Subscription timing
- Changes must be made before the next billing date shown in your subscription portal
- Orders already billed or in processing cannot be canceled
Subscription orders follow the same return rules outlined in this policy.
9) Pre-Orders
When you place a pre-order, you are reserving an item that is not yet available for immediate shipment.
- Estimated ship dates may be provided, but are not guaranteed
- Payment may be collected at checkout or charged when the item is ready to ship
- Pre-orders may be canceled before processing begins
Once a pre-order enters processing or ships, it follows the standard return policy above.
10) Shop Pay, Affirm, Klarna & Buy-Now-Pay-Later Orders
Orders placed using Shop Pay, Affirm, Klarna, or other installment payment services are subject to the same return and refund rules as all other orders.
- Refund eligibility is determined solely by ModeBeads
- Approved refunds are issued only to the original payment method
- We do not issue refunds directly through third-party payment providers
- If a return is denied or ineligible, installment payments remain the customer’s responsibility
- A payment plan does not change return eligibility
- Disputes with payment providers do not override this policy
11) Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By completing a purchase on ModeBeads.com, you acknowledge and accept this policy and agree to contact us first before initiating a dispute.
- Chargebacks do not override this policy
- Items that are opened, unsealed, used, returned without approval, or returned outside the 30-day window are not eligible for refunds, even if a dispute is filed
- Submitting a dispute while a return is pending, denied, or ineligible may result in the dispute being contested
- We reserve the right to contest disputes using delivery confirmation, product descriptions, checkout records, policy acceptance, and return condition documentation
